Premara Group ("Premara Group," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website www.premaragroup.com (the "Site"). Premara Group provides mergers and acquisitions advisory services to owners of privately held businesses and to buyers seeking to acquire them. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the services you are interested in, and any message you write. If you check the newsletter box, we also use your email address to send our newsletter.

Please do not include confidential or sensitive details about your business in the contact form. We will discuss those in a confidential conversation.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. If we use website analytics, those tools may collect similar information and use cookies or similar technologies to do so.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and schedule conversations
  • Evaluate whether our services are a fit for your situation
  • Send our newsletter, if you opted in
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site
  • Keep records and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Inquiries about transactions

Because our work involves potential sales, acquisitions, and financings of privately held companies, we take particular care with information about you and your business:

  • We do not share an inquiry you submit through the Site, or the fact that you contacted us, with potential buyers, sellers, investors, or lenders without your permission.
  • Once you engage us, any sharing of your information with potential counterparties or lenders is governed by your written engagement agreement and by confidentiality agreements with those parties.
  • Information submitted before an engagement agreement or confidentiality agreement is in place is not treated as confidential, as described in our Terms of Use, but we limit access to it to the people at Premara Group who need it to respond to you.

How we share your information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate our business and the Site, and only as needed for them to provide their services. These include:

  • Website hosting and form processing: Netlify, Inc., which hosts the Site and stores contact form submissions
  • Email newsletter delivery: Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), if you subscribe to our newsletter
  • Business email and productivity tools: Google Workspace, which we use to receive and respond to inquiries
  • Scheduling: Calendly, if you book a meeting through our scheduling link
  • Customer relationship management: our internal systems used to track inquiries and client relationships

We may also disclose information if required by law, including in response to a request from a regulator such as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission or a state securities regulator, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business.

Email communications

If you subscribe to our newsletter, every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing us. Opting out of the newsletter does not affect our ability to respond to an inquiry you have made.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, and the Site does not currently respond to them.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including as required to meet our recordkeeping obligations under applicable law. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted through the Site by emailing contact@premaragroup.com. We may need to keep certain information where the law requires it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, and we will respond to requests as required by those laws.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business owners and professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The Site may link to websites we do not control, such as Calendly or LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
